The Butterfly Cooke and Deaton Summer School looks forward to offering you the opportunity to experience some of the best and most up to date coaching techniques. The course caters for all standards and is unique in that it provides international standard practice partners, as well as the chance to test and improve your skills at multiball, a training technique used by all national and international squads.
There will be tournaments throughout the week with quality prizes presented at the end of the course.
The course will be held at Grantham College, which is easily accessible close to the A1. The college offers comfortable en-suite accommodation with parents / guardians also welcome to stay at a reduced rate. The accommodation is available and recommended on each of the Sunday evenings prior to the course with breakfast included at no extra cost. All meals are inclusive and are served on the premises. Special diets are catered for on request.
The sports hall, which is within walking distance of the accommodation, comprises 18 top class International Butterfly tables. As part of the course each player will receive their own player profile, which is an analysis of their game put together by our team of coaches, as well as the opportunity to film their 1-2-1 session with their own equipment. A selection of tripods are provided to cater for most phones and tablets, but please feel free to bring your own if you wish.
Other Events
At the end of a day of training, the evenings provide an opportunity to relax and socialise with some of the top players in the country and your course-mates, with other evening entertainment including a barbecue and quiz night, ten pin bowling, an awards evening complete with talent show and a very popular Coaches Challenge Tournament featuring a selection of Britain's current elite players.
A licensed bar is open for over 18s.
