Exhibition in Wellingborough is a massive hit!

We hit a smashing success with our recent Coaching Masterclass and Exhibition in Wellingborough at Highfield Table Tennis Club! On 11^th November 2023 the Cooke & Deaton Table Tennis team travelled to Wellingborough to host an event organised by Jiten, whose son’s have attended our Summer School!  

We were thrilled to welcome an incredible turnout with players not just from Highfield Table Tennis Club but also neighbouring Table Tennis Clubs, all eager to learn from the experience of our coaching team.

The demand was off the charts, with all 16 tables bustling with enthusiastic players. Due to overwhelming interest, places on the coaching masterclass filled so quickly we unfortunately had to turn away some players, however we are certainly keen to return and continue with the same energy and passion!

The Club's hospitality shone through with some delightful refreshments - our team jokingly wished they had more time to indulge, given their commitment to the exhibition. The event was met with resounding applause, so many of the local players getting involved in the exhibition and a win in the one-point challenge from Cooke & Deaton Summer School attendee, Shivam!

With coaches spanning different generations, the unity from the Highfield team, all donning their team colours proudly, was a truly inspiring sight. We're humbled by the support and interest and can't wait for future opportunities to bring this dynamic event back to the club.
