Cooke & Deaton Summer School 2020 COVID-19 Update

The impact of coronavirus is being felt right across the UK and the rest of the world. We at Cooke & Deaton hope that you, your family and your friends remain safe and well.

We wish to inform you that we are closely monitoring the development of COVID-19 and paying attention to the advice of the Government and the World Health Organisation.

With four months to go until the 2020 Cooke & Deaton Summer School, this July/August, we wish to assure you that we are currently planning to go ahead with this years’ course.

Of course this is a rapidly developing scenario and we are constantly monitoring official guidelines to ensure total safety for our guests and staff alike.

For the meantime, while we are still working hard behind the scenes, we want to make sure all of you are staying well and only practising where safe to do so.

We will ensure you are all kept up to date with the latest news regarding the Cooke & Deaton Summer School and we look forward to seeing you all in the Summer!

20th Anniversary Legends Exhibition Night

The Cooke and Deaton Summer School is renowned as the biggest and best table tennis summer school in the UK and this year marks a very proud moment as it will be commemorating its twentieth-year anniversary.

To mark this milestone, the course will be hosting an extra special exhibition evening with appearances from two of the world’s all-time legends who will display their skills with an evening of top-class competitive match play.

European top twelve champion, Kalin Kreanga, and world singles champion, Werner Schlager, will compete against England’s very own legend himself, Alan Cooke, as well as other players such as England’s Sam Walker, Kelly Sibley and Matt Ware.

Kalin Kreanga will be appearing on Tuesday 28th July, and Werner Schlager on Tuesday 4th August. This is a ticket-only event. Please book your tickets by contacting a member of the team on the details above.
